                      Part 1 of  Cedar Series

Penultimate Breath is the story of Cedar, Utah epitomized by Mark Foster. Mark is secluded from the rest of society, subsisting off of other's efforts; he feels that nothing can be done to improve life. The only resource is a youth center in the heart of the 4-mile town. Its operations manager Mr. Garrison does all he can, but it’s never enough. With dwindling resources the town hangs on without hope until a new avenue comes through.

 The Boy & The Body

just wait...

Mark's shoes and walnuts

Everywhere the boy goes people tell him what he needs. Mark has his shirt, he has food, shelter. A backpack, that's all Mark Foster needs. So why do they all persist in saying he needs more?

Have a cup of tea, squirrel watch, go for a bike ride, breathe. Book 2 will become available for beta readers after the first book of Troy's series is published.

The human body is a rugged creation. For everything done to it, it treks on.

Mark Foster, The Boy & The Body

The series includes journal entries and internal thoughts to give as honest a depiction of real life as possible.

To all those who enmeshed me in hardships and strangled my life force, this series was able to be written because of the lessons you taught me. Thank you.

To all of those that read the earliest copies of it, I am forever in your debt. Your feedback was instrumental in forming the final copy.

To Jared, for putting the idea in my head to write a book. I never would have considered it on my own.

To Nick, without you my book would have vanished. You were my very first reader. Your feedback was instrumental for me to see my skills for what they were and what they became.

To all those who taught me holistic medicine, and how to be embodied I never would have been stable enough to write this series without you grounding me.

Thank  you
